Storage upgrades
Replace slow or failing drives with reliable SSD storage where suitable.
Refurbishment for community impact
LCR Charity securely wipes, tests, repairs and prepares donated laptops, PCs and accessories so they can support families, schools and community organisations across London.
Collections of fewer than 5 items may require a £40 donation to help cover collection and refurbishment costs. Laptop chargers remain a separate £20 donation item.

Device transformation
Use the slider to compare a donated device before and after the refurbishment process.

Every device is reviewed against practical reuse criteria. The goal is simple: keep usable technology in circulation and protect people’s data.
